4.) PROPER PREPARATION – This can’t be stressed enough. It doesn’t matter what coating you use, if you do not properly prep the paint before application. Ceramic coatings bond at the molecular level to create a semi permanent protective layer. The paint needs to be as “virgin” or clean as possible so nothing interferes with the coating bonding. And of course we want the paint looking its best prior to coating. EVERY vehicle receives at minimum a thorough wash, chemical and mechanical decontamination, swirl free machine polish, pre-coat wipe down, ceramic coating, and the proper amount of cure time before delivery.
